A Holistic Approach to Nourishment
Restoration House WNC is committed to addressing food insecurity in our region through a compassionate and comprehensive approach. In partnership with MANNA Foodbank, we provide consistent access to nutritious food, distributing over 60,000 pounds of food in just six months last year. Our outdoor food pantry, accessible 24/7, ensures immediate assistance, while the community garden supplies fresh produce and serves as a space for education and connection. Additionally, our community kitchen offers a welcoming space for individuals to prepare meals and share in the comfort of nourishment and community. Together, these efforts ensure no one in our community goes hungry.
Community Garden
Our community garden offers fresh produce and serves as an educational space. Each year, we grow and distribute approximately 500 pounds of locally sourced food, including popular varieties like mustard greens and mint leaves. The garden is an excellent resource for teaching sustainable agriculture practices while fostering a sense of community and environmental stewardship. Join us on Saturdays!
